A friendly and warm British family living near Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire HP4 are looking for a new, long-term, live in housekeeper who is happy to help with all aspects of children and nanny duties to join their family home. You should hold a driving licence due to the location of the property.
A family of four, the mother is a banker and the father works in IT. They both work long hours and travel regularly for work. The mum works four days at the office and one day from home, and the father often works at home during his working week. They have three children, aged 3, 5 and 7. The three children go to full time school, with the youngest attending nursery during the week. They have had a nanny for the last three years, but she has decided to move in with her partner, so they are now looking for a new, long-term member of staff to join their family home. They have two cats and three chickens.
You will have sole charge of the children, and although the mother and father are very interactive, your main role will be to cherish and care for the children. You should be energetic, pro-active and organised. Willing to arrange fun activities and playdates for the children, helping them develop and grow, through fun and play. You should be practical and hands on, and have experience working with children in this age range. As all three children are at full time school/nursery, during the day you'll be helping with housework. You should be happy to undertake these duties. During the holiday time, you'll do less housework, as your focus will shift more onto the children. You should be happy to help with all aspects of family life, from morning school runs and afternoon/evening routine. The family travel regularly, and you'd be asked to travel with them.
