Background
The single principal lives on his own in a beautiful five-bedroom house over three floors in Hadley Wood, North London EN4. His long-term housekeeper is sadly leaving because she is relocating, and he is now looking for an experienced housekeeper who is looking for a long-term role. He has no pets in his household.
Duties
You will be solely responsible for all housekeeping in the property. This includes light and deep cleaning, making beds, changing bed linen, vacuuming, and mopping floors and generally keeping the house well-presented and tidy.
You will be responsible for all of the laundry and ironing for the principal and should be confident in doing this.
You will cook the evening meal for the principal each week. He enjoys simple home-cooked meals, like steak, fish, potatoes, and veg. You should be happy to cook and follow recipes.
You should be able to organise contractors when needed, run errands and get the food shopping delivered to the property.
Location/Accomodation
The property is in Hadley Wood, North London EN4. This is a live-in role. A studio apartment on the top floor will be provided for the candidate to live in.
Days/Hours
Working Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm each day. With some flexibility to work extra hours when needed, for example when the principals family visits.
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English.
Skills
You must have solid experience as a housekeeper in private households.
