A family who are based in St John's Wood, London, NW8 are looking for a full-time housekeeper to join their team. This is a live-in role and beautiful accommodation will be provided.

- £45,000 - £50,000 gross per year depending on experience

Family Background
The family have three children, ages between 7 and 12 and a small dog. They live in a beautiful property in St John's Wood near The Regent's Park consisting of 5 bedrooms for the family and 3 staff bedrooms. They are a very busy family who travels to and from London often, so they need someone dedicated and reliable to help them with the upkeep of their household. The family employ another full-time housekeeper/nanny and a chauffeur.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail.
You will be sharing responsibilities with the other housekeeper for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensuring it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house.
Although the other housekeeper deals predominantly with the children, you should be child-friendly and willing to lend a hand with the children as needed when the other housekeeper is on holiday or not at work.
You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, organising cupboards, cleaning the fridge and ensuring that the home is generally well-presented and cared for.
You should be happy to cook for the family and follow family-style food recipes on occasion. You should be happy to help out with the children when required.
In the summer the family travels to the USA for approximately three weeks. Ideally, you should be happy to travel with them if required.
Location/Accommodation
The property is located in St John's Wood, London, NW8. This is a live-in role and luxury accommodation will be provided on the staff floor, which includes a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room.
Days/Hours
- Working 5 days per week with one weekend day
- 10.5 hour working day: 7:30am to 6pm or 9:30am to 8pm with flexibility to work around the other housekeeper’s schedule (so that morning and evenings are covered between the two of you).
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping.
