A family who live near Paddington, London, W2 are looking for a full-time housekeeper to join their team. This is a live-in role.

Family Background
The family have two children, one aged 6 and one aged 13 and two small dogs. They live in a beautiful property near Paddington consisting of 8 bedrooms. They are a busy family who travels to and from London often, requiring someone dedicated and reliable to help them with the upkeep of their household. The family employs other staff.
Duties
You will be sharing responsibilities with the nanny for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensuring it is always kept tidy and presentable. Daily tasks are to include, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all other areas of the house. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail.
Although the nanny deals predominantly with the children, you will need to be comfortable working around children, as well as willing to lend a hand with the children as needed when the other housekeeper is on holiday or not at work. You will also be responsible for ironing, laundry, organising the kitchen, cleaning the fridge and making sure that that the home is generally well-kept and looked after. If the family are abroad and you are not with them, you will be expected to live in the property whilst they are away.
You must be happy to cook for the family on occasion and follow recipes. The family do not require a maestro in the kitchen, but easy, family-style food from time to time would be required. The family regularly travels abroad for up to a month during the summer. Ideally, you should be happy to travel with them. You should be comfortable around dogs, able to follow directions well and looking for a long-term role.
Location/Accommodation
The property is located near Paddington, London, W2. This is a live-in role and beautiful accommodation will be provided within the home, with a private area in the house for you to reside in.
Days/Hours
Working Tuesday to Saturday (5 days a week), 55 hours a week. with flexibility to work around the other housekeeper’s schedule (so that mornings and evenings are covered between the two of you).
Languages
You must speak English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must have previous experience working in private households and great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping.
