Family Background
A busy family of four, the father and mother have busy schedules. They have a 12 year old girl and a 2 year old boy, and a much loved Cocker-poo (soon to get another one). They have daily nannies who attend the property and are soon to buy a country property in Oxfordshire which will be their country retreat. They have a busy home, with lovely, well-appointed rooms and furniture, with a private mews home opposite which they also own. In the mews house opposite is the father's office. They are keen to find a lovely live in housekeeper to join their family home in a long-term role.
Duties
Your work will be focused around the housekeeping of the property and although the nannies and parents are involved with the children, you should be happy to lend a hand if required. You should be pet-friendly, happy to take the dog for a walk and comfortable around dogs. You should be organized and efficient as you will be helping the mum with morning and evening routines. You will be in charge of the housekeeping duties of the property including daily and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing and cleaning bathrooms. Hoovering, mopping, laundry and general cleaning. The household is formal, with silver and antiques, so you should be happy and confident in looking after these. You should be happy to help cook fresh, healthy Mediterranean food and have a very positive, and can-do attitude.
You should be looking for a long-term role, be willing to travel with the family to their countryside property and enjoy organising the household and doing admin tasks. You should want to be involved in with family life and have a joy for making life easier for them. You should be fit and healthy and have a joy for life. Warm and personable to fit in with this lovely family.
Location/Accommodation
The family live in Kensington, London, SW7. You will be provided with beautiful well-appointed live in accommodation either in the family home, or in the mews house opposite could also be an option.
Days/Hours
- Tuesday - Saturday (5 days per week)
- 7am - 7pm with regular breaks through the day
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
Driving is not required, but if you do drive, an automatic car will be provided for work duties.
