- £40,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience

A busy family with 4 children are looking for an experienced house manager to support the family in the father’s large property. The parents are divorced. The family also has a dog so you should be happy and confident around dogs. They travel regularly to their other properties around the world. At times you may be required to travel with the family. The home is staffed, and the children have nannies.
Duties
You should be a 'hands on' house manager. The property is staffed, and the family office and PA need an experienced house manager who is happy to run the rotas and schedules, ensure the staff duties are being performed to the highest standards, but happy to get stuck in to family life - and not be scared to roll up your sleeves if duties require. For example, on the Chef's day off, you will be required to provide dinner and assist the nannies, arranging breakfast for the children, clearing the table etc. You should be happy to run errands, walk the dog, and generally get fully involved in duties as required. The house is busy for one week and then quieter for the next week as the children go to their mother's home, so the duties will increase and decrease accordingly. You should have a brilliant team energy and be looking to get the job performed to the highest degree.
This role will also focus on managing the property, maintenance and driving duties. You should be able to perform maintenance around the property and be a confident driver to help with driving duties, running errands and taking the children to school. You should be able to manage rota's and help with other staff in the property this is also very valuable to the family.
Location/Accommodation
The property is based in Kensington, London W8 and you will be provided with a self-contained bedroom and bathroom within the property. The kitchen is a shared staff kitchen (which is used with the other household staff).
Days/Hours
Days and hours are will be dependent on when the principal/children are in residence at the property and have time off when he is away. You will be working 5 days per week, and you will have 2 days off each week. You should be flexible that when the father/children are in residence that you may work extra days, but then you'll have extra days off when the father is away.
Languages
You must speak an excellent level of English.
Special Skills
- You should hold a full driving licence and be confident driving in London.
- Be confident and relaxed around dogs.
