A Chinese businessman who lives and works in London is looking for a live in Asian-style skilled cook for a full time role.
Family Background
A busy businessman, he regularly travels for work and entertains for business. He owns various properties, and one of his properties is a well appointed, beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment (which he does not live in). He uses this apartment for occasional business guests, and he is looking for a long-term Asian-style cook who can cook beautiful Asian food along with European food - however the most important food is the Asian food.
Duties
You should be happy to cook lunch and dinner at the apartment, where the business man will visit for his lunch and dinner. You will cook for him and up to 3 other guest (max four covers). You will be focused on Asian cuisine, Japanese, Chinese, and if you are comfortable cooking European food this is a plus. You will be in charge of planning menus, shopping (or ordering the food), so if you drive this is a plus so you can help with driving errands, but if you don't that's also fine. As you will be the sole person living in the two bedroom apartment it is important that you always keep the apartment to a clean and tidy level, you would be in charge of the housekeeping and keeping it well presented. If the business man has a guest they may occasionally use the second bedroom, but you will be told in advance of this.
Location/Accommodation
The two bedroom apartment will be your own private place to live. This is in High Barnet, North London. The business man will come to this property for his lunch and dinner. You should not have any pets.
Days/Hours
Sunday - Friday. Saturday off. You'll be working to prepare lunch and dinners. Lunch served at 12:30/1pm and dinner at 6:30/7:30pm. Outside of this, your time is yours to organise, and as long as duties/housekeeping/menu planning and shopping is completed your hours are flexible.
Languages
You must speak English, in order to communicate with the principal.
Special Skills
A love of providing healthy and wholesome meals. Able to accommodate special dietary requirements as requested for specific guests needs.
Package Offered
- £400-700net a week / £25-50K gross per year.
- Plus the two bedroom apartment which is one bedroom will be your personal space to live in.
- If you drive a car will be provided (if required)
