Package Offered
- £30,000 - £35,000 gross per year, per person depending on experience (£60,000 - £70,000 gross per year for the couple)
Background
The family are looking for a junior domestic couple to join their team. The beautiful estate is located near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, GL54 is fully staffed. The family also have dogs so you must be happy around animals.
Duties
This is a fully staffed household so you should be comfortable and happy working as part of a team. The successful candidates will be energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
One of you will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is clean, tidy, and presentable, attention to detail is crucial for this role. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as deep and daily cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, and organising the home. You must be happy to assist with laundry and ironing when required.
The other person will focus on houseman duties like indoor maintenance and service. You should have an interest in service and be willing to learn butler service. Assisting to serve at dinners and laying tables.
Location/Accommodation
The estate is based near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, GL54. This role is live out, you must be able to drive and you should be able to commute easily to the property each day.
Days/Hours
- 5 days a week, with two days off each week
- Having one weekend off every month
- Working week is flexible as hours and days will vary depending on the family’s schedule
- Typically a 45 hour working week and a level of flexibility is expected
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail, willing to work as a team and be willing to adjust to the daily needs of the household. One of you must have a driving license to apply for this role.
