A lovely family of four is looking for a new full-time housekeeper/cook. The family live in the beautiful town of Ascot, Berkshire, SL5. You must have a driving licence for this role. You should live locally and be able to commute easily.

Family Background
A professional couple, both working mainly from home. They have twin boys aged 10 who attend school nearby. The wife’s mother lives with them. The family have two well-behaved indoor cats and a lovely Golden Retriever. They live in a beautiful house with landscaped gardens. They employ another housekeeper to look after their home.
Duties
Your role will be mainly focused on cooking for the family and helping the other housekeeper. You will be responsible for governing and tidying up the kitchen and the cooking. You will liaise with the other housekeeper ensuring the house is tidy and everything is in order to a very high standard. You should be proactive and focused, with a keen eye for detail.
You will be in charge of preparing breakfast for the family in the morning, lunch and also preparing dinner, before you leave, for the family to warm up at dinner time.
The family enjoys fresh organic, home-cooked, especially Mediterranean and British cuisine. It is important that you have a passion for cooking and enjoy trying new recipes.
You are expected to be a pet lover, as you will be taking care of the two indoor cats, feeding them & cleaning their litter. You will also look after the dog, taking him for walks (when the husband goes to London or on business trips or the family is on holiday), playing with him and feeding him. You should be comfortable around animals and be happy to interact and play with them on a regular basis.
Occasional shopping and errand running might be required, you may be asked to do the school run, for example. You must be happy to house/pet sit when the family are on holiday.

The family live in the beautiful town of Ascot, Berkshire, SL5, this is a live-out role and you should live suitably local to commute daily.
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Working 7am – 3pm
- Occasional babysitting as agreed in advance with the family - you will be paid overtime or have time off in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must hold a driving licence for this role. You should be a passionate and skilled cook, have experience with pets and be happy and comfortable taking care of them and interacting with them.
