A family of 4 based near Streatham Common, SE19, London, are looking for an experienced housekeeper/cook for their beautiful property. You do not need to drive for this role.

Family Background
A kind and warm family of 4 adults who live in a lovely 3 bedroom property, are looking for a hands-on housekeeper who can assist with all aspects of daily life including cooking. They have 1 British short hair cat and 2 dogs, so you should be pet-friendly.
Duties
All tasks focused around cooking, home upkeep and housekeeping. Simple, fresh and nutritional cooking for the family – they enjoy Asian and Indian cuisine, so it is a bonus if you are experienced in this cuisine. The client's mother is Type 2 Diabetic, so you will need to cook reduced salt/sugar recipes – the family are happy to teach and guide you on this. You should also keep the kitchen neat and tidy and take care of the shopping. The home is within walking distance to the shops, so you do not need to drive for this role. You should be skilled with housekeeping, with an eye for detail and an ability to go the extra mile to get the job done.
The client may travel abroad to their Luxury house in Pakistan, Islamabad where there are other managers, security guards, drivers and external housekeepers. The applicant should be happy to travel abroad with the family for the holidays. This is not a must but a bonus for the family.
The client's mother would need escorting to Kings Hospital for appointments, traveling by taxi or a family member. All notes should be taken when visiting the doctors so that the son can view and be kept up to date.
Location
This is a live-out role near Streatham Common, SE19, London. You should be able to commute to the property easily. There would be the possibility for this to become a live in role in the future if required, with a separate 1 bedroom suite available exterior to the property.
Days/Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Working 9.00 am to 8.00 pm, 55 hours a week
- Additional days/hours would be covered as overtime or time off in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be an able cook, happy to cook varied meals and be confident in housekeeping.
