A family near Camden, London, NW1 are looking for a part-time housekeeper for their newly renovated home. This role is live out so you must be able to commute easily.
Package Offered
- £18 - £22 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working 3/4 full days per week, the specific days are flexible
- Working 24-30 hours each week
Family Background
This family comprises of parents and three children, a daughter aged 11 and two older boys who attend boarding school and university. They have no pets. They live in a stunning newly renovated townhouse near Regent’s Park. The home is set across five floors and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The top floor is occupied by the two older boys, so there is no daily need to manage this space. The home is furnished will all new luxury furnishings, with some fine art and antiques.
Duties
Our client is looking for a discreet, proactive, and hands on housekeeper to care for their home. You should have initiative but also take direction well when needed.
The home has recently been renovated with a large extension newly added, and has been fitted with luxury furnishings throughout. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You will be in charge of the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the home and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning the kitchen & bathrooms, and tidying up all areas of the house. You should also be confident in taking care of the laundry and ironing for the family.
You should be happy to run some errands, light shopping, trips to the post office, dry cleaners etc.
The successful candidate must be happy to cook for the family. The family enjoy eating a variety of dishes, including fish, seafood, and steak. When the two older sons come home for a visit, you should be aware that they each have a nut allergy. They are both experienced in managing this and will be able to assist with advice on these occasions.

Days/Hours
- Working 3/4 full days per week, the specific days are flexible
- Working 24-30 hours each week
- You should be happy to do occasional hours of overtime (for babysitting), this would be agreed in advance and will either be paid or given as time in lieu. The client is happy to subsidise any travel home on these occasions.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English to communicate with the family. The successful candidate will have good written and verbal English.
Special Skills
