An extensive property in Mayfair, London, W1 is looking for a new long-term housekeeper to join the existing team.

Property Background
The client visits the property several times per year, especially around the holiday season and in the summer. This is a formal fully staffed property. This is a busy property, when the family is in residence then the team work hard, but the family spend a large portion of the year abroad in which case the duties reduce and the pace settles. There are regular guests visiting the family who host dinner parties and events, when they are in residence with children, but no pets.
Duties
The ideal candidate should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping. The role focuses on the daily and deep cleaning of the property, including hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning of the whole property to an exceptionally high standard. During client visits the role is more reactive to the changing needs of the property.
The client requires a team player who is happy to take direction from the long-standing house manager and other senior staff. You should be discreet, hard working and flexible and have at least three years previous experience working in private domestic properties. If you have worked in larger households this will be a bonus.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail, whilst being flexible and happy to help with other duties when required.
Location
The property is located in Mayfair, London, W1. This is a live out role and you should be able to easily commute to the property daily.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Flexibility required during a client visit where overtime will be given as time off in lieu.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled housekeeper.
