A professional couple near Primrose Hill, London, NW1 are looking for a full time Housekeeper to help care for their beautiful home. This is a live in or live out role. If you choose to live out you should be able to commute easily to the property.
Package Offered
• £40,000 - £45,000 gross per annum depending on experience and overall package

Family Background
The family comprises of friendly parents and two warm teenage children. They do not have any pets. The mother and father are both professionals and work, with often long hours. They enjoy travel and have a wonderful family vibe at home. They run both a formal and informal household and enjoy having long-term members of staff, to help the house run smoothly and efficiently. They love to entertain and enjoy regular events at the house.
The family is down to earth and enjoy spending time together, socialising and cooking together regularly. They live in an impressive 17,000 sqft home in central London. The home has a technical swimming pool and an office on the grounds, and staff accommodation in the house. They currently employ three housekeepers, who cover the household Monday through to Sunday. One of their full time housekeepers is moving on, and thus they are looking to find a new long-term housekeeper who can be the main housekeeper in the property.
Duties
You should be confident with all daily & deep housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a five-star hotel standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is tidy and presentable. The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as laundry, ironing, unpacking the groceries, changing beds, and cleaning the bathrooms & kitchen. The house has luxury furnishings, so you should be confident in handling marble, nickel and brass etc. The housekeeper will work directly to the house manager and will report any issues to them.
The successful candidate will be happy to run errands like going grocery shopping, to the post office, or dry cleaners. You should be flexible to assist with events as needed, serving and helping to prepare refreshments. When the family you will be expected to house sit for the family.
You should be happy to cook for the family, cooking healthy dinners as needed. They enjoy eating a wide variety of meals including stir fries, curries, and soups. The family enjoy cooking, but you must be happy to cook when asked.
You should be confident leading by example, bringing positive and warm energy to the property and staff. You will report to the house manager and be expected to ensure the other housekeepers are performing their duties efficiently and to the highest standards.
You should be flexible and willing to help with events and parties at the household, and be looking for a long-term role.
Location
The house is in Primrose Hill, London, NW1. This is a live in or live out role. If you choose to live out you should be able to commute easily to the property. Lovely private accommodation can be provided if you choose to live in, the property has a separate flat for the housekeeper, if needed.
Days/Hours
• Working Monday – Thursday, 9am – 1pm then 2:30pm – 7:30pm, with an hours break for lunch and afternoon tea break.
• On Friday you will work 10:30am – 11pm (with a 1.5 hour lunch break, and an afternoon break of another 2 hours), however you may be expected to stay later in the property as this is the evening the family entertain.
• You should be happy to be flexibility to do extra hours when agreed in advance over the weekend, and if you do then you’ll be paid in overtime or given time off in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have good experience working as a housekeeper in a private household. You should have an eye for detail, a warm and positive attitude and skilled in working with others.
