A lovely family of five living near Tutts Clump, West Berkshire, RG7 are looking for a housekeeper to join their family home. This is a live-out role so you should be able to easily commute to the property (this property is not accessed easily by public transport).
Package Offered
- £20 - £25 gross per hour depending on experience
- Working five days per week (Monday – Friday) with the flexibility to swap a weekday for a Saturday or Sunday on occasion
- Working 9am - 3pm (6 hours per day)
- Additional hours agreed in advance for house sitting and would be paid as overtime
Family Background
The family, based near Tutts Clump (10 minutes from Thatcham), are looking for a wonderful person to assist them in running their beautiful property. The family have three children (12, 10 and 9) and one dog; they also employ an estate manager.
Duties
The ideal candidate should be reliable, highly experienced, trustworthy and looking for a long-term role.
The candidate should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and ensuring that the home is generally well-presented and cared for.
Their family life is busy, there will be additional responsibilities of running errands and house management around the daily duties of the household. The candidate should be happy to be around dogs and help with feeding and going for walks. Cooking is not required, however, being able to prepare simple meals for the children whilst they are home alone is a benefit.
The family travel overseas for up to six months of the year for periods of one to three weeks at a time. As such they are looking for a self-motivated and responsible housekeeper to help maintain the property.
