A busy family of four based near Reading, Berkshire, RG7 are looking for a new Housekeeper to join their family home. You must have a full driving license for this role.
Package Offered
- £16 - £20 gross per hour.
- Monday – Friday, 8am - 2pm (with flexibility)
Family Background
A lovely family, who have two children, ages 11 and 9 years old. They live in a lovely 5-bedroom house in Reading, with a beautiful 8.5-acre garden. The family have a pet rabbit and will be getting a Labrador soon so you must be happy to be around dogs for this role.
Duties
You will be in charge of the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the house and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning kitchen & bathrooms, tidying up all areas of the house.
You will also be very confident taking care of the laundry and ironing for the family. You should be happy to run some errands, light shopping, runs to the post office, and similar tasks. There is also the option to housesit for the family when they are away.
You should be happy to help out with the children, mainly picking them up from school and babysitting occasionally. You should also be happy to cook for the family, you should be confident in cooking fresh and healthy food.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard.
Location
The family home near Reading, Berkshire, RG7. This is a live out role and you should be in easily commutable distance.
Days/Hours
- Monday – Friday, 8am - 2pm (with flexibility)
- Start and finish times are flexible.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled housekeeper. You should be self-motivated will excellent communication skills.
