Family Background
A kind and warm family of 4 adults who live in a lovely 3 bedroom property, are looking for a hands-on housekeeper who can assist with all aspects of daily life including cooking. They have 1 British short hair cat and 2 dogs, so you should be pet-friendly.
Duties
All tasks focused around housekeeping and cooking. You should be skilled with housekeeping, with an eye for detail and an ability to go the extra mile to get the job done. You should also keep the kitchen neat and tidy and take care of the shopping. The home is within walking distance to the shops, so you do not need to drive for this role.
Your role will also include some simple, fresh and nutritional cooking for the family. They enjoy all different types of cuisine!
The client's mother sometimes needs escorting to appointments, travelling by taxi or a family member and you may have other errands to run but you do not need to drive for this role.
Location
This is a live-out role near Clapham, London, SE19. You should be able to commute to the property easily. There would be the possibility for this to become a live in role in the future if required for the right candidate, with a separate 1 bedroom suite available exterior to the property.
Days/Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Working 9.00 am to 8.00 pm, 55 hours a week
- Additional days/hours would be covered as overtime or time off in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be an able cook, happy to cook varied meals and be confident in housekeeping.
