Family Background
A family of four, with two active Cockerpoos, are looking for a new long-term housekeeper to join their family home. A beautiful five-bedroom home, on a countryside lane near to Woolhampton. They are keen to find a committed and long-term candidate.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You should have worked as a professional housekeeper before and have excellent long-term history on your CV. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for.
You should understand that family life is busy, and be willing to do errand and house management around the daily duties of the household. You should be happy to be around dogs and help look after the family dog with feeding and going for walks.
You should be happy to put meals into the oven, and if you enjoy cooking this is a bonus but not required. Happy to take some tea to the parents when they are home, and enjoy being in a busy family setting. An eye for detail is a must.
The family are warm, friendly and easy-going and their previous staff have all stayed long-term with the family, so they are looking for a kind and wonderful new member of staff to join their family home.
Location
The family live near Woolhampton, RG7, West Berkshire. This is a live out role. You should be able to drive and have your own car in order to commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:30pm.
- The family can make provisions for a later start, but not an earlier finish.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping.
