A busy family based near Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, B95 are looking for a new, long-term housekeeper. This is a live out role. Due to location, you should have a full driving licence for this role.

- £35,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience
Family Background
A lovely family of three, the parents and a young daughter. They live in a beautiful four bedroom, four bathroom property surrounded by a large 100 acre plot of land. Their home comprises of a large drawing room, dining room, sitting room, kitchen and diner area, gym, orangery, guest flat and stables which include a small guest house with bathrooms and bedrooms. The family have multiple onsite office tenants and the husband will occasionally be working onsite. The family have two large dogs, several outside cats, and horses. They are an outdoorsy family and take part in outdoor pursuits. The family already employ a team of external staff including a Grounds Manager, Gardener, and occasional horse experts.
Duties
You should be a confident and skilled housekeeper, with a key focus on organisation and attention to detail. It is a busy family home with lots going on, so you need to be extremely flexible and have the ability to adapt fast! The main duties for this role are to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standard, this includes the main property, guest flat & stables. Duties include all deep and daily cleaning, ironing, washing, supporting the other external staff, taking delivery of the food, unpacking and general house management. You should be skilled at the laundry, care of delicate fabrics and ironing and pressing.
You should be well presented, happy to greet guests and help with the daily life and routine of the family.
Flexibility is key to allow the family to carry out each of their responsibilities and they are currently working with the ‘all muck in’ attitude as mum and dad are both very hands-on. A can-do attitude is a must. On a day-to-day basis, you don't need to look after the daughter directly as the mum is very hands-on, however, but you should be happy to help if needed, so you should be comfortable around children.
You should be happy to run errands, go to the dry cleaners, post office, and grocery shop etc. There is no cooking for this role. There may be the option for occasional travel with the family.
It is a bonus if you love horses, as the family are happy for you to take on horse duties while they are away or more regularly if you wish. However, this is not a must, but you must be happy around animals.

The family are based near Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, B95. This is a live out role. Due to location, you should have a full driving licence for this role.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
- Typically, the working hours are 8am - 5pm each day. Apart from Wednesdays in hunting season where you might be asked to come in a little later and stay later to care for the daughter until the mum comes home
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours or babysitting, this would be agreed in advance and will either be paid or given as time in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to be able to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be kind, focused, and child friendly housekeeper, looking for a long-term role. You should be a 5* housekeeper, and able to care for delicate fabrics.
