- £35,000 – £45,000 gross per year depending on experience

Family Background
A lovely Danish family with three children (aged 12, 14 and 16 years), with a friendly Labradoodle, are looking for a new long-term housekeeper to join their family home. A beautiful six-bedroom home in Oxshott, Surrey. Their current housekeeper is moving on after 10 years and they are very keen to find a new long-term member of staff to join their family home. They are keen to find a committed and long-term candidate. You should be happy to be around dogs for this role.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for.
You should be happy to cook and follow recipes for fresh and healthy meals for the family. Their son likes to cook too (occasionally) so you’ll have a pair of helping hands in the kitchen! You should also be happy to take your dog out for a walk around their acre garden and clear up after the dog. Their dog isn’t keen on exercise so only a small walk around the garden a day will be needed! When the family are away on holiday you should be happy to look after the dog and care for the home.
You should be flexible to help out the family with errands if required. The children all go to different schools so help with the school runs and pick-ups would required if you can drive. An automatic car can be provided.
Location/Accommodation
The family live in Oxshott, Surrey, KT22 with a 12min walk to the local train station. This is a live out or live-in role, or flexi-arrangement. A self-contained studio flat above a triple garage, with a separate entrance and private kitchen, can be provided.
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, during school holidays starting at 8am and working through to 6:30pm, and during term time, starting at 7am through to 6:30pm. Some flexibility if both parents travelling for work will be required
- Occasional Saturdays required
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping. You must be happy to be around the friendly dogs. If you can drive this would be beneficial but not required.
