A busy family are looking for a part-time housekeeper for their 6-bedroom house in Winchester, SO21, Hampshire. You must have a full driving license for this role – a car can be provided for work duties.
Package Offered
- £16 - £20 gross per hour.
- Monday – Friday afternoons/evenings
- 25 hours per week
Family Background
A lovely family, who have two children, ages 9 and 7 years old. They live in a lovely 6 bedroom house in Winchester, with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. They previously hired a nanny/housekeeper but now that the children are older, they are looking for someone who can focus on the housekeeping, with light childcare when needed.
Duties
You will be in charge of the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the house and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning kitchen & bathrooms, tidying up all areas of the house. You will also be very confident taking care of the laundry and ironing for the family. You should be happy to run some errands, light shopping, runs to the post office, and similar tasks. You should also be happy to liaise with the gardener and pool company. You should be happy to help out with the children, mainly picking them up from school and babysitting occasionally. You should also be happy to cook for the family, this won’t be every day but it would be great if you can help out in the kitchen!
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard.
Location
The family home is in Winchester, SO21, Hampshire. You should be in easily commutable distance and a car can be provided for work duties.

- Monday – Friday afternoons/evenings

- Start and finish times are flexible.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled housekeeper. You should be self-motivated will excellent communication skills.
