Package Offered
- $50,000 gross per year ($960 gross per week)

Family Background
A high profile family based in Purchase, New York, USA are looking for a long-term Cook / House Person to join their team. They have two young children, ages 1 years old and 3 years old. They also have a housekeeper who is responsible for the housekeeping of the interior areas of the house. Your main responsibility will be the cooking and maintenance of the property. The family have no pets.
Duties
You will be focused on cooking and home maintenance. Home maintenance will involve, DIY, fixing things around the house, keeping the outdoor areas tidy and presentable, any painting and decorating which may need doing occasionally, liaising with contractors for work like electrics/plumbing. Simple but fresh cooking for the family - you do not need to be a trained chef but you should enjoy cooking and be able to follow recipes and cook for the family daily. You should also keep the kitchen neat and tidy and take care of the shopping. You should have good time management and be flexible warm, and switched on with lots of common sense and initiative! Wanting to become a long-term member of staff and valued member of the family setup. You should be hospitable and wanting to make life easier for the family!
Location/ Accommodation
The family are based in Purchase, New York, USA. This is a live in role and you will have private accommodation in the staff quarters with all bills and food included.
Days/Hours
Working 6 days per week, with Thursday as your day off each week.
9am – 6pm each day, with a 1-hour lunch break
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English, the family also speak Spanish and Italian.
Special Skills
You should be a team player, happy to take direction and also have the ability to perform your duties to high standards. You must have a drivers licence.
