A warm and friendly family, are looking for an experienced degree-trained nanny in Ascot, Berkshire, SL5. This role is live-out and due to location, you should have your own car. You should be either Norland, Chiltern or teacher PGCE qualified.
Package Offered
- £75,000 - £95,000+ gross per year depending on experience - the family will pay an extremely competitive rate for the right candidate with the right qualifications so please apply even if your salary range is higher than this.
- Option for a full-time or part-time role as the candidate prefers.
- All expenses, including fuel and car expenses, will be paid
Family Background
The family consist of a mother, a father, and one young child under 5. They live in a beautiful five-bedroom property in Ascot, with the older child attending school. The mother is due her second baby in May. They do not have any pets. They lead a busy life, but are friendly, down to earth and are keen to find a new long-term nanny to join their other household staff and provide support for the two children.
Duties
The family are keen to find a flexible, kind and highly skilled nanny to help care for their little one and the new baby joining in May. You should have strong professional experience as a nanny and you should be confident with babies. Although mum will be around lots, you should be confident with both sole and shared charge of the baby and the older child.
You should be degree qualified in a PGCE, Norland nanny or Chiltern degree qualified as the family are looking for extremely well-qualified candidates.
You should be able to care for both children, plan activities and take them to playdates and events. Be willing to assist with school drop off and collection (for the older child) and help with all stages of babies development including weaning and potty training! The family are keen to find a long-term nanny who becomes a flexible and valued member of the family.
You should be organised and flexible, extremely discreet and take pride in giving the children in your care the best attention and love. You should be willing to assist the family with all aspects of the children's life, from organising their room, and specific duties around the children, and work with the family's housekeeper with regards to the children's clothing, laundry and cooking.
You should be willing to muck into family life and there may be an option to travel with the family on holiday from time to time. You should be looking for a long-term role.
Location
The home is situated in Ascot, Berkshire, SL5. This role is live out and due to location, you should have your own car.
Days/Hours
- Ideally working 8am - 8pm from Monday – Friday, the client can be flexible for the right candidate and can offer adjusted hours if preferred
- Babysitting or additional hours will be agreed in advance
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours, this would be agreed in advance and will either be paid or given as time in lieu
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should be an experienced and skilled nanny with newborn experience. You should be degree qualified in a PGCE, Norland nanny or Chiltern degree qualified as the family are looking for extremely well-qualified candidates. You should be looking for a long-term role and be happy to get fully involved in family life
