An UHNW family based in Doha are looking for a full-time head housekeeper to join their team and help look after their estate. This role is based in Doha, Qatar, and requires relocation. You must hold a driving licence to apply for this role.
Package Offered
- £60,000 - £70,000 gross per year depending on experience
- Relocation expenses covered
- Off-site accommodation will be provided to meet the candidate’s needs

- One journey to the candidate’s home country is provided per year.
Family Background
The family have a very large and fully staffed property in Doha. The home requires thorough servicing by a team of staff, including housekeepers, chefs and gardeners. This is the family’s primary residence though they do travel extensively and can be absent from the property for extended periods of time.
Duties
The role is of Head Housekeeper, as such you will be responsible for the team of housekeepers. The successful candidate must be very experienced and strong-minded, someone who can lead the team of housekeepers to improve on the current standards. The team is diverse and multinational, hence you need to be down to earth and amiable, capable of working alongside the incumbent staff.
Extensive experience working in large private homes is essential as you must be able to carry out your duties and ensure that the home is cared for to the highest of standards whilst also managing the team of housekeepers in their roles. The home requires the utmost care and attention, it is filled with valuable antiques and fine furnishings. Knowledge and experience for caring for such valuable materials and furnishings is required.
The successful candidate will have to be adaptable and fresh thinking, the role requires someone who can lead by example and guarantee an excellent level of service. An acceptance of Qatari culture is of course paramount alongside this, and the role necessitates the successful candidate be able to integrate into their new environment seamlessly.
Location
The family live in Doha, Qatar.
Days/hours
- Working 40 hours per week on a rota basis
- 5 days on with two days off per week
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must have extensive experience working in private homes and be willing to relocate to Qatar.
