A family of four in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL54 are looking for a new, live out nanny/housekeeper. You must have a driving licence to apply for this position. This is a live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Package Offered
- £35,000 - £45,000 gross per year
- Working Monday to Friday, start time is flexible and finishing around 7pm, some weekend work with days off in lieu
- Car provided for work purposes
Family Background
A busy family, with two lovely children aged 7 and 4. They have a beautiful manor house and are looking for someone who is happy to help with all aspects of family life. You should be experienced with children and also be happy to take responsibility of the housekeeping on a day to day basis while the children are at school. This will involve cleaning, laundry and maintaining a high standard of tidiness. There will also be a part-time cleaner in support. The family have a pet dog and ponies so you must be happy around animals for this role.
Duties
You will be responsible for looking after the children and the housekeeping. You should be happy to provide both sole and shared care of the two children. During term time, the children will be at school every day. You will help them to get ready in the mornings and help with the school run if you start before then, if not then mum will do the school run before you start work. You will then help every afternoon with the school pick-ups and taking the children to sports clubs, providing tea at home or on the go and helping with homework and the bedtime routine.
During the day in term time, you will be responsible for all housekeeping including basic cleaning, all laundry and ironing and keeping the house tidy. You should be a confident cook and be able to follow recipes and cook simple, homemade healthy food for the whole family for their evening meals.
During the school holidays, you will be mainly focused on the children and will be taking them to activities and days out.
You may be asked to walk or feed the well-behaved dog on occasion.

The family are located in a village outside Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL54, this is a live-out role and you should live suitably local to commute daily.
