A family of four near Wandsworth, London, SW19 are looking for a new nanny. This is a live-out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.

Family Background
A busy family of four are now looking for a new, long-term Nanny. They have a lovely three-bedroom apartment near Wandsworth, London, SW19. They have a six-year-old little boy and a four-year-old little girl who are both at school full time. They have a part-time housekeeper who works in the family home. They travel for family holidays (typically once a year) so you must be happy to travel with the family. They do not have any pets.
Duties
You should be easy going and happy to be involved in family life, helping with the children, and taking them out to play in the gardens and to other activities. You should be willing to keep the children area clean and tidy - although you won't have to do cleaning, you should be organized and tidy, with a great attitude. You should also be happy to cook for the children and help with errands. When the little ones are poorly - you will be in charge of looking after them and helping them get better, keeping them safe and happy.
You should be happy to tidy up after the children, putting toys away and doing their laundry specific to the children. Wardrobe management, school uniforms, school supply organization and packing will fall under your responsibility. When the children return home from school during term time, you would be responsible for helping the children with their homework, and planning fun and educational activities.
In the evening you'll be helping with the bed and bath routine. You should be confident in sole charge, but equally, be happy with shared charge as the parents are fully involved in the children and daily routine - so you should be confident with both approaches. You should be flexible and have a warm and lovely personality.
The family travel occasionally so you should be happy to travel with them when required. You should also be comfortable and happy with occasional overnight proxy parenting when the parents travel and happy to do additional babysitting when agreed in advance.
Location/Accommodation
The family are located near Wandsworth, London, SW19. This is live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday, 10/11am – 6pm/7pm during the holidays
- During term time you will work 2pm – 7pm.
- 40 hours per week.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
