A family of five based in Munich, Germany are looking for a new long-term nanny. You must hold a driving licence.

A professional family of five, the mother and father work, and they have three children, aged ten, four and five months old. Mum is now at home on maternity leave but plans to go back to work when the baby is older. The eldest is at boarding school and comes back home on some weekends and during the school holidays. The family travels regularly, and they do not have any pets. They live in a beautiful, spacious five-bedroom property in the center of Munich.
You should be easy going and happy to be involved in family life, helping with the children, and taking them out to play in the gardens and to other activities. You should be willing to keep the children area clean and tidy - although you won't have to do cleaning, you should be organized and tidy, with a great attitude. You should also be happy to cook for the children and help with errands. When the little ones are poorly - you will be in charge of looking after them and helping them get better, keeping them safe and happy.
You should be happy to tidy up after the children, putting toys away and doing their laundry specific to the children. Wardrobe management, school uniforms, school supply organization and packing will fall under your responsibility. When the children return home from school, you would be responsible for helping the children with their homework, and planning fun and educational activities.
In the evening you'll be helping with the bed and bath routine. You should be confident in sole charge, but equally, be happy with shared charge as the parents are fully involved in the children and daily routine - so you should be confident with both approaches. You should be flexible and have a warm and lovely personality.
Additionally, you should support in the child-supervision and be also comfortable to take care of the children in sole. You should have experience working with babies and small children. Babysitting once a week is required, and if the parents were to go away for a night then you may be asked to stay overnight for proxy-parenting when agreed in advance.
The family would like you to travel with them on holiday to help with the holiday routine and children. You should have a can-do attitude, with an excellent eye for detail, professional and flexible attitude. You are in close contact with the mum to report on the children’s activities and developments.
The property is based centrally in Munich, Germany. The family are happy to assist with re-location and accommodation for non-local candidates.
Working Monday to Friday, with two days off each week. 40 hours per week. Flexibility to do occasional weekends when agreed in advance. One night of babysitting included.
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family. Basic German skills are a big plus. Additional language skills are a plus.
The family requires a candidate who is highly reliable, even-keeled, professional, motivated, proactive, thorough, organized, structured, service-oriented, experienced, discrete and with good time-management. You should be well experienced with babies.
