A family of three in Westminster, London, SW1P are looking for a new nanny. This is a live-out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.

Family Background
A professional couple are looking for a new nanny to care for their lovely five year old son. They have a stunning three bedroom penthouse apartment in Westminster. They have a full-time housekeeper who works in the family home. The family travels during all school holidays so you must be happy to travel with them. The family have two pet fish. They have previously had a nanny for three years who has left to pursue a new career in a different industry.
Duties
You must be a confident and experienced nanny for this role. You should be confident in sole charge, but equally, be happy with shared charge with the parents - you should be confident with both approaches. You should be flexible and have a warm and lovely personality. The little boy is energetic and active, it is important that you are happy to get stuck in with his busy schedule.
You should be happy to clean and tidy up after the little boy, putting toys away, cleaning up after mealtimes, and doing the laundry specific to him or cleaning his belongings. Wardrobe management, school uniforms, school supply organization and packing will fall under your responsibility. The boy attends a local school which is a short walk away. When he returns home from school, you would be responsible for helping with any homework, and planning fun and educational activities. You should be happy to do the school pick up each day, as needed. The boy enjoys a number of afterschool activities such as Tae Kwon Do and basketball, he also enjoys visits to the park and museums.
You should be happy to meal plan at the beginning of the week, do a food shopping list and run errands accordingly. You should be a competent cook, creating fresh and healthy meals daily. He has a mature palette and enjoys eating more adult style dishes, he enjoys a Mediterranean diet. He also enjoys cooking and like to assist in cooking activities.
In the evening you'll be helping with the bed and bath routine, assisting the parents as needed. When the little boy is poorly - you will be responsible for looking after him and helping him get better, keeping him safe and happy.
The family travel regularly during the school holidays so you should be happy to travel with them when required. You should also be comfortable and happy with occasional overnight proxy parenting when the parents travel and happy to do additional babysitting when agreed in advance.

The family are located in Westminster, London, SW1P. This is live out role so you must be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday – Friday from 1pm - 8pm & Saturday from 10am - 8pm
- 44 hours per week
- You must be flexible to do additional hours of babysitting (when agreed in advance)
- You will either be given time in lieu or paid overtime
- You must be happy to travel with the family during school holidays
Languages
You must speak fluent English. If you can speak Mandarin or Spanish, that would be a bonus, but it is not essential.
