A Russian Principal with residencies in both Russia and London are looking for a new live out, full time housekeeper to join their South Kensington residence.
Background
A Russian high end businessman and his wife, they have two children in their late 20s. They mainly reside in Russia but do regularly travel to their large residency in South Kensington, London. The residency is a large, 5 storey property designed and decorated to the highest standard with high end material and finishes, giving a palace-like feel. They have no pets. Currently there is a House Manager and a Housekeeper/Cook. There is a second housekeeper will be leaving mid-July and this role is a replacement of this current housekeeper.
Duties
As a live out housekeeper, you will be in charge for all the cleaning, laundry, ironing, and upkeep of the house together with the first housekeeper/cook. You will be in charge of cleaning very high end materials including marble and antiques. When the first housekeeper is off you will be cooking for the family when they are in residence – as well as serving the food and drinks when guests are over. The family do not have pork in the house – meals cooked should be healthy with either fish or meat with fresh ingredients.
Location
The property is in South Kensington, near Gloucester Road tube station. This is a live out role so no accommodation will be provided.
Days/Hours
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. When the principal or his family are in residence you might be asked to work a little longer or do the occasional Saturday, so you should be fairly flexible. Overtime pay will be in place for any additional hours.
Languages
You should speak fluent Russian to communicate with the family and the rest of the household staff, who all speak Russian.
Special Skills
You must have experience as a housekeeper in very high end residencies, experience working with expensive and exclusive materials such as marble and antiques, as well as caring for high end clothing. You should have experience in cooking healthy meals as well as serving food and drinks.
Package Offered
Between £26-32k annual gross. You will be employed by the family company.
