A down to earth family located near Cobham in the beautiful scenic county of Surrey, KT11 are looking for a full-time housekeeper/cook. The role is live out and you must be able to commute easily to the property.

Family Background
A family of four with two boys aged twelve and fourteen are looking for a new full-time housekeeper, as their current long-term housekeeper is sadly relocating. They live in a five bedroom, four bathroom property near Cobham in Surrey. The family also hire a gardener. The parents are busy with work, so you should feel confident in taking full responsibility for running the house. You should be animal friendly for this role as the family have two lovely Beagles!
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, organising and cleaning the kitchen, and generally keeping all areas of the house clean and organised. You will be responsible for the family’s wardrobe management, ensuring all laundry & ironing is up to date.
You should be happy to look after the dogs, by walking and feeding them. The dogs eat a simple home cooked dinner of rice and meat which you should be happy to prepare.
You should be happy to cook for the family. Cooking includes light lunches, dinner and making a lunch box for children. You should have a keen interest in cooking as the family enjoy home-made meals like pasta, pizza, soups, meats, and also Indian food. The principals enjoy cooking and will be happy to share some authentic Indian recipes with the housekeeper. You should be happy to occasionally help with dinner parties on the weekend - this will be a maximum of two days a month. Equally, the family offers some flex in hours, say twice a month, so you can come late or go early.
Location
The family are located near the lovely upmarket town of Cobham in Surrey, KT11. This is a live out role and you should be able to commute easily.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday.
- Working 9:30am - 6:30pm, with some flexibility
- Working 40 hours a week.
- Occasionally working on a Friday or Saturday evening only to help with dinner parties. This will be maximum 2 days a month.
- Overtime will either be paid or given back as time in lieu.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be experienced at housekeeping and have an excellent eye for detail. You should enjoy cooking and be happy to cook daily for the family.
