A lovely family of five who live in Andoversford near Cheltenham, GL54 are looking to hire a full-time Housekeeper to help them look after their family home. You must have a full driving license for this role. This is a live in or live out depending on your preference. If you choose to live out, you must be within easily commutable distance.
Package Offered
- £30,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience and overall package
- Private separate accommodation is provided if you wish to live in

Family Background
The family of five have recently moved into a beautiful seven bedroom, six bathroom home located near Cheltenham. The parents have three teenage children who attend boarding school and come home at weekends. You must be happy around animals for this role as the family have two beloved dogs – a Labrador and a terrier. The parents are both very busy and often travel for work.
Duties
The family have recently moved into their new home and are looking for an organised and methodical housekeeper to help keep their lovely home clean, tidy, and organised. You will be focused on the housekeeping of the property, ensuring the house is always kept clean and tidy. You will be responsible for all the housekeeping duties, including daily and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cleaning bathrooms etc.
There may be some cooking required from time to time, the family enjoy eating home cooked family meals.
You should be happy to run errands for the family on occasion, such as going to the shops, dry cleaners, or post office.
You must be a dog lover for this role as you will be assisting with the pet care for the two dogs. You should be happy to walk the dogs daily and bath them where necessary. When the family travels, you will need to stay home and house sit/dog sit.
Location/Accommodation
The family home is located in Andoversford near Cheltenham, GL54. This is a live-in or live-out role. If you choose to live out, you should be within easily commutable distance. If you choose to live in, you will be provided with a recently refurbished flat. The flat has a separate entrance, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, study, and bathroom.
Days/Hours
- Working either Wednesday – Sunday or Thursday - Monday
- Working 8am to 5pm, with a 1 hour lunch break
- Working 40 hours per week
- You should be flexible as overtime may be needed on occasion, this will be agreed in advance
- Overtime will either be paid or given back as time in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must have professional housekeeping experience in private households. You must hold a full driving license for this role.
