A lovely family based in Harrow-on-the-Hill, London are looking for a long term, live in nanny/housekeeper for their three children aged 11 and 8.
Family Background
A British family, they are kind, warm and down to earth, and looking for that caring and kind nanny to join their family home. They have had a au pair's for a number of years, but are now looking for a more professional child carer to support the family and household whilst the parents are at work. The children go to full time school and they don't have any pets. They live in a lovely part of London, with a beautiful home and lifestyle. The wife and husband are separated but are amicable and both involved heavily with the children. During the week, the father is mainly around, and then during the weekend the mother, so you should be comfortable working with both parents and sensitive to the fact that they are separated.
Duties
A family of five, one 11 year old girl and two twin boys aged 8. You should be experienced working with children of these ages, and a positive and friendly attitude. Your role will be focused on the children's development and stimulation, playing with them, helping with homework and creating fun and stimulating games and activities. You will be cooking for the children and tidying up after them, and some housework whilst the children are at school. Both parents work full time, so giving them flexibility to work around busy weekly routines is ideal. You do not need to drive.
Location/Accommodation
Harrow-on-the-Hill is in North West London. Accommodation will be provided within the large family home, with a private bedroom (on the top floor), fully furnished to a high standard. You'll have access to a shared bathroom (used by the children).
Days/Hours
7am to 6pm each day. Monday - Friday. With flexibility to work occasional evenings for babysitting here and there.
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English, a second language French would be a plus.
Special Skills
You must have experience as a nanny and housekeeper in private households.
Package Offered
£330-400net a week depending on experience.
