A busy family are looking for a full-time domestic couple for their full-time residence in Belgravia, London, SW1. This is a live in role.
Package Offered
- This is a combined salary of £88,0000 - £125,000 gross per year for the couple
- £44,000 - £65,000 gross per person.
Background
This busy family of five have three children, a teenager and twin babies. They live in a beautiful six-bedroom, four-bathroom townhouse based over six floors. The family have two beloved dogs, so you must be happy around dogs for this role. The family are looking for a long term-term domestic couple to help with housekeeping duties and general maintenance of the property. You must be happy to travel with the family as they travel regularly.
Duties
Together you should be confident with all daily housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is clean, tidy, and presentable, attention to detail is crucial for this role. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as deep and daily cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, and organising the home. You should be experienced in looking after and caring for fine furnishings including antiques, silverware and crystal.
Wardrobe management is a key duty, you should be comfortable with caring for designer and couture clothes, you will be responsible for taking inventory and packing/unpacking luggage.
The successful candidates will be responsible for buying groceries and taking inventories of stock levels. You will also be responsible for running errands including driving the family when required, and trips to the dry-cleaners, butchers, and pharmacy. A driving license is not essential but would be a bonus. You must be happy to organise and deal with contractors that visit the property.
One of you should be happy to cook for the family, cooking healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The successful candidates will be happy to supervise the children when needed and provide occasional babysitting.
You should be happy to travel with the family. The family travel regularly during the school holidays including the majority of the summer holidays and over Christmas.
Location/Accommodation
The family live in Belgravia, London, SW1. This is a live-in role. A private bedroom within the home can be provided.
Days/Hours
- You will each work 55 hours per week, including weekends.
- Working 7:30am-6:30pm.
- You will both have one day off together on a weekday, and another day off individually on a weekday.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail, willing to work as a team and be willing to adjust to the daily needs of the household. A driving license is not essential but would be a bonus. You should have a good knowledge of Central London.
