A lovely family of four based in Sunningdale, Berkshire, SL4 are looking to hire a full time Housekeeper to help them look after their home and also assist with occasional childcare duties for their two children. This is a live out role. You must have a full driving license for this role.
Package Offered
- £35,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on experience
Family Background
The family are a busy family, and they live in a beautiful five-bedroom, three-story property near Sunningdale, Berkshire, SL4. They have two children - aged nine and five years old and are looking for a Housekeeper to assist with both the housework and childcare. The family are active and busy and currently have cleaners who come in once a week to help with the deep cleaning. They also have a beloved Labrador, so you must be happy around animals for this role.
Duties
During the day you will be responsible for all the housework of the property including washing, ironing, wardrobe management and assisting the cleaners in daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the property.
You will also be responsible for running errands for the family such as trips to the post office and dry-cleaners and occasionally walking the dog. You should be happy to help with the occasional babysitting when required. When the family travel you should also be happy to house sit for the family. An all-rounder is key for this role.
You should be a confident cook and be able to follow recipes and cook simple, homemade healthy food for the whole family for their evening meals. The family enjoys a varied and healthy diet, with Mediterranean cuisine being a particular favorite.
You may be required to help with picking the children up from school. The children finish school at around 5.30pm, you should be happy to look after them and assist with all childcare related duties. You should be happy to assist with the night-time routines include making dinner, preparing the school uniform and reading with the children.
Location
The family home is located near Sunningdale, Berkshire, SL4. This is a live-out role. You should be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday – Friday.
- Working 40 hours per week, from 12pm – 8pm.
- With flexibility expected during busy periods.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must have professional housekeeper experience in private households and be happy to help with childcare.
