A high profile individual who lives in Holborn, WC2, London is looking for a live out housekeeper to cover maternity leave for his currently housekeeper, from February 2020 for between 9 - 12 months in a fixed term contract. You should be happy to commit for the duration of the contract. You should be confident with housekeeping and assisting with personal assisting work.

A high profile principal is looking for a live out housekeeper, to cover the maternity leave of his current housekeeper. You should be happy to assist with additional admin/PA duties. The principal lives in a large, beautiful London townhouse, and has a much loved French Bulldog. He has a full time PA, and other staff who work for him, in both his person and business life.
Duties
The main duties for this role are to assist in all aspects of the principles professional and personal arrangements and to ensure his properties are maintained to the highest standard. The most important part is ensuring the care and wellbeing of the principal’s dog. Including vet check-ups, grooming, feeding and the general day-to-day care of her. Another large part of the role is the housekeeping for the house, so you should be confident and pro-active in this area. You may be asked to do basic cooking, run errands and food shopping, and serve tea/coffee during the day. Flower arranging and making the house look beautiful for the principal and his guests is key. You should be able to work independently, with a calm manner, and polite and discreet disposition. You should be a self-starter, trustworthy and able to manage your own time efficiently. You will need to be organised, conscientious, punctual, and have great attention to detail. The client runs some of his business from his home so you should be able to slot in with minimal direction and work happily without much day-to-day supervision. When the principal travels with work, you may be asked to housesit/care for the dog, but there will be no overnights. You should be happy to host the dog at your own property, particularly at the weekends when the principal is away. But you will be given time off in lieu for the walking hours.
Location
This is a live out position and the principal is based in Holborn, WC2, London. You should be able to easily commute to the property.
Days/Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:30pm each day.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should be confident caring for pets, and have a pro-active and discreet manner.
Interview/Start date
The contract will commence in February 2020, and will last between 9 - 12 months in a fixed term contract. You should be happy to commit for the duration of the contract.
