A high profile family based in Hampstead, NW3, are looking for a long-term housekeeper for their family property. This is a live in, live out, or flexi role depending on your preferences.
Package Offered
- £47,000 - £54,000 gross per year.
- Working Monday - Friday
- You will have private accommodation in the family home during the week and then will go home over the weekend
- Extra hours will be available on the weekends if you would like to do overtime, but this is optional
Family Background
A friendly and busy family of five, with three children who are all in full time school/nursery. They have a full staffed home where you will work alongside another housekeeper. They have no pets in the household, and the family travel regularly throughout the year, where you may be required to travel with them.
Duties
You will be working alongside another housekeeper who works during the end of the week and weekend and together you will be responsible for all tasks focused around the upkeep of the home and housekeeping to a 5* standard. Daily cleaning and deep cleaning of the property. You should be skilled with housekeeping, with an eye for detail and an ability to go the extra mile to get the job done.
You should be highly skilled in housekeeping, to manage and care for the property. You will be responsible for laundry, ironing and wardrobe management. Some food prep and assisting the chef to prepare meals but no cooking involved. Occasional running of errands, picking up shopping, etc. You may be required to travel with the principal in the UK and overseas.
You should be discreet and well organised, and be able to blend in well with the existing team, routine and schedule. An eye for detail is key as it’s a busy household.
Location/Acocmmodation
This is a live in/live out or flexi role in Hampstead, NW3, where you will be provided with accommodation during the week and go home over the weekend. However, the family are open to full live in and are happy to discuss.
Days/Hours
- 6:30 - 19:30pm with a 2 hour break in the day
- Monday - Friday and leaving for the weekend
- Working 55 hours per week
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family and the rest of the staff.
Special Skills
You should be organised and a good team player - able to get the housekeeping done to the highest standard.
