A lovely British family with 4 children are looking for a full time housekeeper for their estate in Jersey. You must hold a full driving licence.
A lovely, fit and active family with the youngest child of 9 and the eldest of 17 – as well as one family dog. The family live in a beautiful large estate in Jersey which has been in development for the last year and is now half completed. They are looking for a housekeeper who will assist the main housekeeper in all housekeeping tasks. Their home is an ultra-modern new build with 5 bedrooms, several large dressing rooms, 6 bathrooms, gym, cinema, hot tub etc. There is an Estate Manager in place to manage all this too and as the house will complete they might look to increase the staff too.
As a full time housekeeping, together with the main housekeeper you will be in charge for all the cleaning, laundry, ironing, and upkeep of the house. You will also together be in charge of doing all the food and house shopping and running errands where needed. You must hold a full driving licence. You should be highly organised and able to help with setting up the new home, organising the larder, organising children’s wardrobes etc. Making sure everything runs smoothly in the house from the start. A high level of personal time management is desired. Laundry is a focus and you should be skilled in the area.
You may be required to travel to the UK with the family approximately 10 weekends a year.
The family will consider both live in and live out candidates. If live in the family will offer separate accommodation adjacent to the main property with your own sleeping area and kitchenette.
You will be working a 40 hour week with Saturday being the main day off. Sunday is definitely a working day.
You should speak a good level of English
You must be an experienced housekeeper, very hands on and be fit and active. Highly organised, good at household organisation, skilled at laundry with a high level of personal time management and happy to work in a team. You must hold a full driving licence.
- The family will pay from £450 - £550 net per week / £29 - £37k annual gross depending on background and experience.
- Separate accommodation when living in.
- Use of a car (automatic).
- 4 weeks holidays to be taking during school holidays.
