A family of 5 who live in a lovely property in Caterham, Surrey, CR3 are looking for a positive and energetic housekeeper to join their family in a long-term role. You should have experience working in private households with a busy family, either as a housekeeper or as a nanny with housekeeping duties. You must have a full driving license and be a confident driver for this role. This is a live in OR live out role.

Family Background
A busy family of 5 who live in Caterham, Surrey, CR3 are looking for an experienced child-friendly housekeeper. This role would suit a self-motivated person who enjoys busy family life and being part of the family. The main property has 6 bedrooms plus an annex, and there is also a 1 bedroom cottage, an indoor swimming pool and a gym on the grounds. The family have another property in Guildford which you will work at once a week, and a 4 bedroom flat in London which you will be asked to clean occasionally. You will be expected to travel between the properties so you should be a confident driver and be happy to drive on motorways. The 3 children (aged 13, 11 and 7) are very active and sporty, and the family also have 4 dogs – so you should be child-friendly and dog-friendly and be happy to get stuck in with family life. The family have a team of gardeners who are responsible for the grounds and gardening.
Duties
You will be responsible for the cleaning of the interior of all properties. Laundry and ironing, making beds and doing the daily and deep cleaning of the main house. You will be expected to travel to the property in Guildford once a week, and the flat in London occasionally when in use by the family. You should be happy to help out with the children and do school pick-ups and drop offs when needed. The children do a lot of sports so you will help with taking them to their various activities on weekdays and weekends. You should be happy to help with the dogs, feeding them and taking them for walks and looking after them when the family are away.
Location/Accommodation
The family live in Caterham, Surrey, CR3. Some travel to Guildford and London will be required. This is either a live in or live out role. If you live out you should be within easily commutable distance to arrive on time each day. If you live in you will be provided with a private cottage on the grounds.
Days/Hours
Monday – Friday (with the flexibility to do occasional weekends when required). If you work on the weekend you will have 2 full days off during the week.
You will work 10 hours per day. Usually 8am – 6pm, but flexibility is key for this role.
Languages
A good level of English is required.
Special Skills
You should have experience of working in private households and be dedicated and reliable. You should enjoy being part of a busy family life and have a can-do attitude. You must have a full driving license and be a confident driver for this role.
