A friendly family of five, who are based in Hampstead, London, NW11 are looking for a full-time housekeeper to work in their home. This is a live out role.
Package Offered
- £30,000 - £45,000 gross per year depending on overall package
- Access to a car for work if you do not have one (and you can drive)
Family Background
This busy family have three young children, aged 3, 6 and 10. They live in a beautiful seven-bedroom property based over 5 floors. The family currently hire a full-time nanny, gardeners, and a chef to help host dinner parties. They also have contractors for the swimming pool and hire a maintenance company. The family have no pets. The family are looking for a long term-term housekeeper to help with housekeeping, house management and cooking duties.
Duties
At the heart of the role, is the support for a busy family, so you should be able to able to blend seamlessly into family life. You should be there to provide support and flexibility for the daily needs of the household, family, and guests.
You should be confident with all daily housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is tidy and presentable. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as laundry, ironing, unpacking the groceries, watering house plants, and ensuring that the home is tidy, organised, and well presented.
You should be happy to work with the other household staff, working in tandem with the houseman who works alongside you. Sharing duties in the household. If you drive, then you may be asked to do some driving duties.
You should be happy to cook for the family, cooking light and simple meals for breakfast and dinner. Occasionally you will be asked to cook for the adults at dinner. The successful candidate will be happy to supervise the children when needed and provide occasional babysitting.
Afternoons are the busy time of the family life, and it’s all hands-on deck during these times. You should be willing to assist with the nanny and family with the childcare if required, and although they have dedicated staff for the children, an extra pair of hands is always liked!
When the family travel, you’ll take care of the household, ensuring it’s safe and well maintained. There may be an option to travel with the family, although this is optional.

The family live in Hampstead, London, NW11, this is a live out role so you should be able to commute.
Days/Hours
• 12 to 8pm
• With alternative Saturdays being worked (2 Saturdays per month), 10am – 1pm
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail, willing to work as a team and be willing to adjust to the daily needs of the household. The family have three children so you must enjoy working around children.
