A professional couple who re-located from Canada last year, are looking for a full time handyman/gardener to be in charge of all aspects of the property and garden maintenance, as well as security. You must have a full driving licence due to driving duties.
Family Background
A down to earth couple with no children, they travel a great deal, and spend time in the UK in their new home in Cobham, Surrey. They have a much loved King Charles Spaniel dog. They have a substantial property (7 bedrooms) in Cobham which is nearing the end of extensive renovations. They have also built a two bedroom separate staff accommodation on the grounds. They have a yacht which they regularly visit during the year, and within the Cobham property they have two housekeepers living on the grounds. They are a relaxed couple, but do enjoy the fine things of life and have an eye for detail.
Duties
You will be in charge of all the gardening, maintenance and upkeep of the property including all the upkeep and maintenance for the pool, as well as security for the house and the grounds. There will also be occasional driving duties for the Principals and guests when required.
Location/Accommodation
This is a live out role so no accommodation would be provided. The property is in Cobham, Surrey.
Days/Hours
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You should have experience working as a handyman/gardener and be happy to be vetted by the client for references, DBS etc. You must have a full driving licence and be a confident driver.
Package Offered
Salary is flexible and negotiable depending on background and experience.
