A VIP family, living in Hampstead, London are looking for an experienced Nanny to work with their family (2 children, boy 2.5yrs and girl 6 years of age). You must have a full driving licence.
Family Background
This is a very busy, fast paced VIP family with the father in the public eye. They are based in Hampstead, London with their 2 children, boy 2.5yrs, girl 6yrs of age, 1 dog and 2 cats. They are flexible and easy going, but like a structured and organised approach to their family lifestyle. They have a number of staff in their employ, but want someone to be part of the family unit and love the children as much as they do! The family have a full-time housekeeper you will be working alongside the housekeeper to provide full time support for the children.
Duties
You must be practical, flexible and a hands-on nanny, to take care of the children in a no-nonsense fashion, willing to educate and stimulate through play and fun activities. You should be able to take care of all their physical needs. You should be willing to be flexible on the schedule to fit in with the needs. You will have sole charge and shared charge with the parents. You must be fully committed to a professional nanny career with a professional nanny background. The ideal candidate is caring, loving and kind, able to help with discipline. Both confident and responsible with knowledge of health and safety. You should be lively with a positive approach and well organised. Have a proactive approach, a good work ethic and be able to work on your own. Common sense is a must! You will be responsible for driving the children to and from school. This is a child focused role, the children’s laundry and ironing is taken care of by the housekeeper, but you will be expected to cook for the children. You may be asked to run errands such as picking up clothing for the children. You must be willing to work along the other staff and thus be a team player. A genuine love for children and interest in child development at all stages. The family want a long-term commitment from the ideal candidate.
Location/Accommodation
The family are happy to consider live in or live out. If you live in you will be provided with a separate flat on the family estate. A car will also be provided.
Days/Hours
You will be working Monday to Friday 7am-8.30pm and should be willing to babysit 3 times a week.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English
Special Skills
You must have a full driving licence. If you wish to live out you should have a base in London as the family require a local commute to work.
Package Offered
Great salary negotiable dependant on experience the client will pay very well for a super nanny.
