A busy family near Virginia Water, Surrey, SL5 is looking for a new full-time chef to join their family. You must have a driving licence for this role. You should live locally and be able to commute easily.

- £42,000 - £55,000 gross per year depending on experience
Family Background
The family have two children and live in a beautiful home. They have a chef currently who is leaving to have a baby. They are now looking for someone to join them on a long term basis. They employ a housekeeper to look after their home. They are a lovely, down to earth family who like a variety of different cuisines. They have indoor cats and a well behaved dog.
Duties
You will be in charge of all the food ordering and ensuring the menus are planned each week. You should be flexible and willing to cook as to the preferences of the family, and happy to be led by the tastes of the family to adjust the menus as required. It is important that you have a passion for cooking and enjoy trying new recipes.
You should be comfortable in a family setting, able to cook for children and be happy to be in a busy household and be highly discreet and well mannered.
The housekeeper looks after the home, doing all the cleaning and housekeeping. You should be a team player and be happy to lend a hand when required with the housework.
You should be happy around pets, making sure they are fed and have fresh water. When the family is away, you will also look after the dog, taking him on walks. You must be happy to house/pet sit when the family are on holiday.
Location
The family live near Virginia Water, Surrey, SL5. This is a live-out role and you should live suitably local to commute daily.
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Working 7am – 3pm
- For additional hours, you will be paid overtime or have time off in lieu
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must hold a driving licence for this role. You should be a passionate and skilled cook and be happy and comfortable taking care of pets.
