A family Palace in Doha, Qatar are looking for an experienced sous-chef to join their team in the French kitchen.
The client is looking for a professional and experienced Sous Chef with a quality restaurant background for a VVIP Private Household in Doha. The role reports to Executive Chef and should be responsible to manage a small team that consist of one CDP, one Demi CDP, Commis Chef and a few stewards. The ideal candidate for the role needs to be very creative, enthusiastic, efficient, able to work on his own or with minimum supervision, dedicated and should be able to cope well with the changing demands of the role. Flexibility, maintaining high quality and high standards with existing systems and procedures, moreover with a positive attitude, willingness to train and develop the team is very essential. The ideal candidate must pose very good knowledge in pastry.
There may be occasional travel, so flexibility is key, presentation, communication, patience, cleanliness, tidiness are all very important.
You will be provided staff accommodation in the Palace.
6 days a week with flexibility.
You should speak a good level of English to communicate and interact with the other staff.
You should have experience working in high end restaurants or for private families. You should have experience with pastry skills.
Tax free salary between USD 2800 - USD 3300 per month depending on previous experience
