The family live in a beautiful property in the Holland Park area, consisting of 5 bedrooms over 4 floors. The couple have two very young children, aged 2 years old and 3 months olds. They are seeking a highly professional, qualified and experienced Nanny, who is looking for a new long-term position. The family enjoy travelling overseas on holiday for 1-2 week periods up to 2 months of the year, and they would require that the chosen candidate travel with them.
Duties
You should be a skilled nanny, able to help guide and develop the children. Due to their ages, the role primarily focuses on the children’s care and supervision, ensuring that they are safe and stimulated throughout the day. You should be organised and kind, willing to plan and develop learning activities and goals for the children and also keep their areas clean and tidy. You must be willing to travel with the family when they travel and flexibility is required for this position. Open and transparent communication with the parents is a crucial aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will be caring, loving and kind, having the children’s best interests at heart. Both confident and responsible, lively with a positive approach, well organised and open. You must have a proactive approach and a good work ethic. This is a child-focused role, you will be expected to keep the child’s areas tidy, and babysit at least 2 evenings per month. The ideal candidate will also need to be a very confident cook, able to provide the family with quality healthy meals. Cooking for the family is a key requirement of the role alongside the childcare.

The family are based near Holland Park, London, W8. This is a live-out role.
Days/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm
- Additional hours will be paid as overtime or time off in lieu
Languages
You should speak English fluently.
Special Skills
You should have experience looking after children of similar age. Being a proficient swimmer to supervise around water is a bonus.
