A family based near Wimbledon, London, SW19 are looking for an experienced House Housekeeper to join their team. This is a live-out role.

• £45,000 - £60,000 a year, depending on experience.
Family Background
The family live in a beautiful six-bedroom home set over four floors, the parents are busy professionals with the mother working from home full time and the father doing so occasionally. They have a full-time Nanny/PA who takes care of the children and is responsible for helping to run and organise the household. As such there are no childcare duties required but the roles necessitate someone happy working around children and able to lend a hand if ever needed. The property is usually busy and requires a housekeeper who is well organised and able to work under their own initiative to help things run smoothly.
Duties
You should be highly professional and experienced as a housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively help manage and run the household, be an excellent communicator and a proactive forward-thinking person. Whilst also keeping the property clean and tidy to the highest standards. You must be flexible and reliable, able to deal with contractors and visitors to the property. The role requires simple but nutritious cooking for the Three children ready for when they return home from school and meals for the family up to twice a week. You must be a good team player and able to work constructively with the Nanny/PA to ensure that family and property are looked after and all runs smoothly.
Daily duties to include:
- Cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, stairways, and other household areas
- Doing the laundry and organising the clothes.
- Polishing silverware, dishes, glass and other items that need to be cleaned but cannot be washed in a dishwasher
- Cleaning and sanitising furniture and other items that cannot be moved from their location
- Dusting shelves, blinds, baseboards, ceilings, windowsills, and other surfaces in the home
- Cleaning floors and carpets using steam or shampoo machines, where possible
- Cleaning walls, ceiling fans, or other hard-to-reach places
- Washing, steaming and ironing, organising and storing seasonal wardrobes
- Cooking for the family, mostly for evening meals but also aiding in meal preparation as needed.
- The family employ a nanny Monday-Thursday but you must be willing and able to help with the children if required.
