A mother and her young son living in Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York 10128, are looking for a new, long-term experienced housekeeper cook to support them in their daily life. Travelling with the family both internationally and domestically, you should be willing and able to travel with them. You should have a full driving licence and already have the legal right to work in the USA to apply for this position.
Package Offered
- $45,000 - $85,000 plus gross per year, depending on experience, the client will pay a higher salary for the right person.

Family Background
A professional mother and her young son of kinder garden age live alone but regularly have guests visiting. The mother is looking for an experienced housekeeper cook to look after their three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment home and travel with them both domestically and internationally, you may be away for up to 2 months in the summer. There is no child care involved in the position as the mother works from home running her own business and works around her son. Peanuts cannot be in the house at all due to a severe peanut allergy. There are no pets.
Duties
Your main focus will be on the housekeeping and cooking for the family.
You should be a confident cook, and happy to prepare and cook healthy simple meals for the family. You may be asked to follow recipes or be happy to be shown new dishes that the family enjoy.
You will be responsible for all deep cleaning and day to day cleaning, laundry and ironing.
The grocery shopping for the family and other errands will also be your responsibility.
Location
The family are based in Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York 10128, you should live suitably local to commute to the family daily.
You will be expected to travel with the family both internationally and domestically, in the summer you may be away for up to 2 months. You should be willing and able to travel with the family.
Days/Hours
7am to 7pm with breaks
5 days a week, you will work Saturday and Sunday each week as the family are most busy then and require your support. The family are happy to be flexible regarding the which two days are taken off during the week.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
A confident cook and an all-rounder in housekeeping/laundry skills.
You should have a full driving licence a car can be provided for work use only.
You should have a suitable passport and papers to be able to travel with the family domestically and internationally. You must already have the legal right to work in the USA to apply for this position.
