A high net worth couple are looking for a highly experienced Butler to support them in their three houses around the US including primary residence in Manhattan, New York.
Package Offered
- $100,000 - $200,000 gross per year depending on experience.
- Wednesday – Sunday, 8am – 8pm
- Relocation package and accommodation can be provided if required
- Occasional overtime when the principal is entertaining, having dinner parties, etc. As agreed in advance
Family Background
The couple are looking for an experienced Butler to join their three houses around the US including primary residence in Manhatten, New York. The lady of the house is a former art gallerist and trustee of several major art museums and leading international cultural institutions. The husband is a former chair of one of world’s leading scientific universities, as well chair of a major computer corporation and leading venture capitalist. The couple are prominent philanthropists.
The properties are all fully staffed with a chef and housekeepers. The couple travel internationally regularly so you must be happy to travel with the couple. The couple frequently host dinner parties and all year-round activities at the three residences for VIP guests - so you should be experienced in dealing with VIP's.
Duties
You should be highly professional, capable and have experience as a Butler. You must be flexible and reliable as plans change frequently, and often at short notice. You should have excellent communication skills and experience liaising with other members of staff and external contractors. You should be a confident driver, and happy to provide chauffeuring duties for the principal and guests when required. You should also be skilled at personal valeting duties, from wardrobe management to clothing care. You should have service skills both in formal and informal and understand Silver Service and should have a good knowledge of wines and champagnes as well as event organisation. You will be serving at meals, dinner parties and events for VIPs. You will be meeting and greeting guests and ensuring that the principals and their guests have everything they need. You should be immaculately presented, professional and a discreet individual who understands the importance of confidentiality.
Location
The couple has three houses around the US including primary residence in Manhatten, New York. You will be provided with private accommodation in each of the properties as well as when you travel with the couple. The couple travels internationally regularly so you must be happy to travel with them.

Languages
An excellent level of English.
Special Skills
Total professionalism, Butler skills and a high level of discretion and ability to work well with others. You should have a full driving licence and have a proven background in Butlering.
