A professional couple who live in a beautiful property in The Hamptons, New York, USA, are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Estate Manager to run their estates and have overall responsibility for the other staff who work for them. This is a live-out role so you must be able to easily commute to The Hamptons. You must drive for this role. You must have the legal right to work in the USA to apply for this role.
● $125,000 - $160,000 per year depending on experience

A professional couple, who live with their dog (no children), in the stunning Hamptons are now looking for a new member of staff. Their home in the Hamptons is their main residence. They have a second property in the Hamptons as well as a property in Manhattan. They renovated their current property in 2019, and the impressive property is a smart home, with luxury finishes. They have a houseman, and recently had housekeepers in the property, however they are looking to find a new senior Estate Manager who can run their estates, and provide the highest standards of care for the clients.
Your overall responsibility will be to manage the couple's estate, which includes a mansion and a second property in The Hamptons, as well as a home in Manhattan. You will be responsible for managing the staff and ensuring that the properties are run to the highest standards. You will be the go-between for the principal and the staff, managing the team effectively to ensure that the principals have a well-managed and stress-free home.
You should be highly organised and efficient at your job and used to managing teams of staff.
You should have a positive and discreet professional approach, and you should be highly flexible to focus fully on the needs of the couple and their estate. You possess a refined and discerning attention to detail. A strong to high level of administrative, organizational and technical skills is required. From managing contractors, dealing with any problems, hiring and recruiting new staff, through to day to day running of the estate. You may be asked to travel with the family or remain in The Hamptons when the family travels in order to ensure smooth running of the estate.
A weekly trip to the home in Manhattan is required to ensure maintenance at that property.
This is a new role and the couple do not currently hire an Estate Manager so they are looking for someone who has great initiative and the ability to adapt well and respectfully take control. They currently have a houseman who has been with them for over 20 years, so they value longevity and are looking for an Estate Manager who wants to stay with them long-term.
The couple's main property is in The Hamptons, New York, USA. You should be within easily commutable distance. The couple can help with relocation should you require this to happen.
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 6pm
- While these are the general hours, it should be understood that there will need to be some administration/work-from-home in order to stay on top of projects and tasks. This is considered a mid-/high level position that requires executive hours
- You should be flexible and understand that you will be on call outside of standard working hours to deal with emergencies.
You must speak a fluent level of English to communicate with the principals and other members of staff.
You should be happy to take a senior role in the house, managing the entire team and taking control of the running of the estate on behalf of the principals. You possess a strong to high level of administrative, organizational, and technical skills
