A couple based in Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25 are looking for a full-time Driver/House Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team. This is a live out role so you must be in commutable distance. You must have a full, clean driving licence for this role.
Package Offered
- £50,000 - £55,000 gross per annum
- A car will be provided for driving duties
Background
The principals live in Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25. The household is fully staffed, with a PA, gardener & housekeeping team. As the House Manager/ Driver, you will work closely with the principals' PA. This is a new role so you will work with the PA to build the role and should be happy to grow and adapt as needed. You should be solution-driven and a self-starter and have good knowledge of driving in London and Surrey.
Duties
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Driving to and from the London office and to clubs and restaurants etc
- Assisting at parties (occasional weekend work)
- Implementing new procedures
- Minor repairs/ maintenance (eg changing light bulbs)
- Looking after the household's cars
- Overseeing housekeeping teams duties
- Arranging contractors and managing repairs
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in private households, with an eye for details. If you have a security background this would also be beneficial.
This role is informal but social etiquette is also a necessity when the principal has guests; therefore, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and understand appropriate practices within private households.
Location
This is a role in Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25. This is a live-out position so you should be able to easily commute to the property,
Days/Hours
- You will work 40 hours each week, Monday to Friday. Exact hours to be determined
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime as needed with notice given.
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have good experience working in a private household, a security background would be beneficial. You must have a full driving license for this role.
