A lovely young family are looking for a domestic couple for their home near Broadway, Worcestershire, WR12. This is a live-in position and you must be able to drive.

Family Background
The family have recently purchased a lovely old property in the Cotswolds, with four cottages on site as well as the main house. The main house is in need of repair and will be undergoing extensive renovation over the next couple of years. As such the family are looking for a domestic couple to join their team and support them while the property is under development and into the future. They have a young daughter starting school and a friendly Cockapoo, so you must be happy around children and animals.
Duties
The family employ a Nanny and a Gardener as such the majority of childcare duties and gardening work will be covered but you may be required to do light childcare duties. One of you will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is as clean, tidy, and presentable as possible during renovation, attention to detail is crucial for this role. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as deep and daily cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, and organising the home. As well as the laundry and ironing when required.
The other person will focus on houseman duties like indoor and outdoor maintenance and service. Assisting the gardener and completing tasks within the property’s grounds, as well as helping look after the principal’s cars. The property has a pool that requires maintenance. Driving is a requirement of the role and as such one of you must have a full driving licence and you will be required to run errands such as grocery shopping, doing school pick-ups and drop-offs or taking the dog to vet appointments etc.
Together you will be expected to be able to assist in serving at dinners and laying tables when the family entertain with one person being able to cook and prepare family-style meals. The family holidays abroad for one month each summer and you will be required to stay on site while they are away for prolonged periods of time.
The ideal candidates will be driven and able to work independently, treating the property as their home also and working to keep it running and improving through the years. Due to the property being renovated, flexibility is key for this position.

The property is based near Broadway, Worcestershire, WR12. This is a live-in position, and you must be able to drive.
Days/Hours
5 days a week, Monday – Friday
7:30am – 4pm
Flexibility required
Working hours and days will vary depending on the family’s schedule
Any changed to working hours will be given advanced notice
Languages
You should speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail, willing to work as a team and be willing to adjust to the daily needs of the household. One of you must have a driving license to apply for this role and an enhanced DBS will be required.
