A lovely couple with grown children, who live in a beautiful farm house in Hedgerley, near Slough, Buckinghamshire, SL2 are looking for a new, long-term domestic couple to join their family home. You must both have a driving licence to apply for this role.
Package Offered
- £520-800 net per couple per week
- Between £33,000 - £55,000 gross per annum (for the couple) depending on experience.

Family Background
A professional couple, with grown children who have flown the nest (but visit regularly) are looking for a lovely domestic couple to join their family home. They have three dogs (two medium sized dogs and one very small) and chickens in the garden. They live on a 7 acre property, with around two acres of landscaped gardens and five acres of parklands/woodlands. They travel around 3 months (total) of the year, and both work professionally, but own their own businesses so have flexible hours and work regularly from home. They had domestic couples for many years and are now looking for a new, long-term couple to join their family property. They couple speak fluent English and the wife has a German background and speaks German. They are warm, down to earth and friendly, with great relationships with their previous staff.
Duties
For One Person:
This role will entail general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, errand running, dog walking and if possible, occasionally light cooking for the family. Organising groceries, shopping, and keeping the property in tip top condition. Cooking is not essential, but if you are happy to help out with simple, healthy meals that would be ideal. You should be pet friendly, and able to help out around the house with daily life and routines.
For One Person:
This role will focus around the land, maintenance and driving duties. You should be confident in the garden. You do not need to be a specialist tree surgeon but you should be confident with managing land and gardens, be able to manage a chainsaw, and be fit and healthy to deal with daily maintenance of the land. The principals will bring in specialist gardeners to support you, but you should be happy and confident to work in this domain. Able to perform maintenance around the property and be a confident driver to help with driving duties as and when are needed. When the family travel you'll be in charge of managing the house and ensuring all the pets are well cared for.
Location/Accommodation
Hedgerley, near Slough, Buckinghamshire, SL2. This is a live in role and you will be provided beautiful seperate accommodation in a converted barn, which has been converted to a lovely standard. Seperate to the main house. It only have one and a half bedroom, so wouldn't be suitable with a couple with children, however small pets could be accommodated (but they must be good with other animals). When the family travel you'll be in charge of managing the house and ensuring all the pets are well cared for.
Days/Hours
8:30am - 5pm. You'll have a full day off on Saturday and two full afternoons off during the week. Typically the family will sit down at the start of the month, go through the schedule and plan which days are needed. So you'll have two days-off total per week.
Languages
A good level of English is required.
Special Skills
You should both have a driving licence - a car (automatic) will be provided if you do not have one. Both roles will require driving errands.
